My First Year:

High Hopes

Written in June of 1969, this article talks about how Eddie Graham had high hopes of my success in professional wrestling.

July 29th, 1969

One month after the last newspaper clipping, I was thrown to the fire on July 29th, 1969 as a substitute in my debut match which resulted in a victory!

My First Newspaper Pic!

November 16th, 1969 in the Tampa Tribune I got my face in the papers hyping my match against Eduardo Perez.

First Championship Match

Teaming with Hall of Fame talent like Sam Steamboat, I received my first championship title opportunity for the Florida State Tag Team Championship.

New Champions?

In what I thought was a special moment, Sam and I defeated Chris Markoff and Bronko Lubich but not without controversy.

Reversed

Sadly, the title reign was not meant to be as the decision was reversed.
